The 2012 P.E.A.C.E. Summit The primary purpose of the 2012 P.E.A.C.E. Summit will be to offer the opportunity for individuals and organizations to gather and collaborate on actionable plans for postive world change, planetary sustainability, social evolution and lasting peace. The current plan is that this will be a multi-part meeting process leading to a final Summit gathering in 2012, with a highly purposeful and humanitarian objectives. When will the P.E.A.C.E. Summit be held ? The first meeting and planning session will be held in March 2010, and will most likely take place in Colorado, U.S.A., which is home to the Time Capsules and Legacies Project.
What will take place at the Summit ? Several leaders from well-known global peace organizations will be invited to speak to the Foundation, project participants and other invited guest. A Board of Summit Directors will be democratically elected and an agenda will be put in place for future gatherings.
Summit Directors together with attendees, project participants and volunteers will share and evaluate the ideas and plans for peace as submitted by Time Capsules and Legacies memorial project. Of course, the items reviewed will only consist of those from TCL participants that have given their express permission to share the contents of their time capsule kits with the P.E.A.C.E. Summit committees and groups. Participants that do not wish to share their time capsule contents will have their information kept 100% confidential. The Board of Summit Directors will vote on a suitable date and location for a second meeting. Ideally, the second Summit will take place three to six months after the tentative March 2010 Summit. What will happen during the second gathering ? During part two of the P.E.A.C.E. Summit, Directors and Participants will focus on two primary agendas.
1. Moving forward with an actions and plans for the Time Capsule Memorial. Specific details of the closing ceremony for the memorial will be made, and the Board will determine the administrative details for maintaining the memorial until the year 2062. 2. In depth attention and evaluation of the ideas and contributions made by our Time Capsule project participants. All ideas will be collectively reviewed in search and pursuit of the common grounds and details that are universally shared by the mass majority of all participants toward the movement of positive world change, sustainability and lasting peace. This evaluation will lead to the final Summit Meetings where determinations for actionable plans that can practically and effectively be pursued through collaboration will be publicly presented through the project to our participants and the world. What will happen during the final Summit gatherings ? That will be entirely up to our participants. Unless we gain an enormous following by way of participation in the time capsule 2012 World P.E.A.C.E. Project, the proposed final Summit may never happen. Thus, at this time all we can do is hope that you recognize the extreme importance and value of this project and become an active participant today.
